Replacing the Rear Cover

To replace the rear cover follow these steps

Remove screws from rear cover

Gently lift off cover and disconnect the battery cable from the PCB, noting it's location for later

Remove Batteries from rear cover and move cover to one side

Pick up new rear cover and replace batteries, noting the correct orientation shown embossed in the plastic

Connect the battery cable to the correct PCB location from earlier

Gently lower lid taking care not to dislodge any connections or trap the battery cable

Screw the lid back on using the existing screw

Identify which C12 or C24 model you have

If you are unsure which model of C12 or C24 you have you can tell by inside of the Rear Cover.

C Series Models 2015 and earlier - Include a battery holder and wire, and a pump support that is shorter than the height of the battery holder to accommodate the original IRR-SPV pump

C Series Models 2016 and later - Include a battery holder, and a pump support that is the same height as the battery holder to accommodate the larger IRR-SPV2 pump

L Series Models 2020 and later - Does not feature a battery holder
