Seal your 13mm backbone pipe with ease
The tank series 13mm water backbone pipe is the foundation on which your tank series irrigation system is built.
The 13mm tube will at some point need to terminate. This may be through one length of 13mm backbone that all your 4mm irrigation components run from, or it could be that you have several 13mm back bone pipes feeding off from a central branch using the 13mm T Piece.
In both cases you will need to close the end of each 13mm tube run with a 13mm end plug. If you have created a 13mm branching network and need to close of a section temporarily, you can use the 13mm Barbed Valves if you have them installed. If you do not have 13mm Barbed Valves, then you can use the 13mm End Plug as a temporary measure to block that branch whilst you perform maintenance and/or planting.
Please note: If you are planning on having 13mm branches on your network, then we would recommend you install the 13mm Barbed Valves for maintenance, rather than rely on the end stoppers. The end stoppers are designed to be a very firm fit, so may be difficult to remove in some scenarios.
